The Food Trailer General Manager provides service to customers, who are looking for the “fast casual” food in the Barrhaven area. 10772496 Canada Inc./WhamBurger! endeavors to be a ‘step above’ fast food and typical ‘chip truck’ fare. Our Street food venue is energetic, friendly and fun, offering good food at a fair price.’ We strive to deliver a high level of “unreasonable hospitality” to every customer on every visit. Food Trailer General Manager will be responsible for managing and operating the food trailer by ensuring the food is prepared, served and displayed in order to obtain customer satisfaction and profitability, that the truck adheres to government guidelines on food operation and that the business represents 10772496 Canada Inc./WhamBurger! commitment to quality.

Food Trailer General Manager will be responsible for managing and operating the food trailer by ensuring the inventory is ordered and stocked properly in accordance to Public Health Guidelines.

Food Trailer General Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, managing, discipline of all members of the food trailer staff team. The Ops Manager will be responsible that the trailer staffing policies adhere to all government guidelines on labour General and that the business represents 10772496 Canada Inc./WhamBurger! commitment to ensure a healthy and safe work environment for all staff. General Manager will be responsible for staff scheduling and coverage. From time to time the General Manager will expect to be “on call” to support gaps in staff scheduling.

Food Trailer General Manager will be responsible for promoting and enforcing all operational, maintenance, cleaning, training, safety, and customer service policies of WhamBurger with all staff members.

Food Trailer General Manager is responsible for promotional activities including public signage, sandwich board productions, social media production and publication, internal promotions such as loyalty cards, VIP program, birthday celebrations, BBQ and Wing events.

Food trailer General manager will work with and report to the Owner on a weekly and/or daily basis if necessary to ensure that safe and efficient operation of the food trailer continually looking to improve the business model.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that COVID-19 Safety protocols and reopening plan are enforced at all levels.
- Ensure all ingredients & equipment are available and ready to use.
- Prepare high quality food as established by the Company at right time in right order.
- Clean up the truck after close which includes disposing of garbage, cleaning utensils, equipment and cooking areas, return unused items to the correct inventory location, or storing cooked goods.
- Serve the food to customers to ensure customers are satisfied.
- Unload deliveries and store inventory correctly
- Manage all the equipment in food truck such as refrigerator, stove and cookware
- Respond to customer complaints & preference & all reviews on socila media, Google reviews, and related review sites (Trip Advisor, Facebook etc..)
- Ensure safety, quality & hygiene standards are in place while food production.
- Ensure staff safety at all times during operation and preparation
- Maintain required records which may include food production, inventory, income/expenses and meals sold.
- Full/Part Time employee leadership, training, and supervisor
- Reporting on food ordering and inventory in stock
- Execution of marketing implementation
- Execution of Opening, Shift Change and Closing procedures
- Cleaning and preparations for health inspections
- Execution of (and supervision of junior employees) to ensure that required shift tasks are performed to established organization standards
- Maintain current Inventory control and replace/order stock as required
- Order inventory as required
- Schedule Staff work shifts and create staff schedules
- Manage all aspects of Staff hiring, training, discipline, and scheduling.
- Provide feedback to staff members and owner regarding training required and/or suggested.
- Anticipate future food requirements for special events such a office catering or special events.
- Report any technical issues or broken equipment to the owner immediately.
- Schedule and manage social media posts and reputation.
- Other related duties as required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of COVID-19 safety and prevention protocols
- Experiences in the restaurant and/or food industry
- Experience in leadership roles
- Knowledge of food preparation, ordering and inventory stocking procedures
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing quality customer service
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Knowledge of clerical procedures such as maintaining records and completing forms.
- Experience working with money
- Experience working with customers
- Knowledge and experience in Asian Cuisine - Preferably Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Filipino
- Knowledge and experience in at least 5 AI tools & applications
- Knowledge and experience in at least 4 video and photo editing application
- Proven knowledge of Facebook and Instagram algorithms, with a demonstrated ability to create and optimize content that attracts high traffic, reach, and engagement.
