Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
  • Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
  • Ability to handle basic math for billing and cash handling tasks
  • Experience with food handling, serving, and food industry standards beneficial
  • Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
