Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a focus on cleanliness, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service settings is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a professional culinary team dedicated to providing excellent service.

Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to meet health and safety standards
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and basic food handling
  • Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary items are available for food service and cooking operations
  • Follow proper food safety protocols during all cleaning and handling procedures
  • Manage waste disposal efficiently and responsibly
  • Adhere to all health regulations and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
  • Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations, including basic food preparation and food handling techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting and scrubbing
