The Wakefield Mill Hotel & Spa is looking for an enthusiastic and cheerful experience Bartender but will train the right person who is committed to customer service and teamwork. If you have these qualities, we would love to hear from you!

We offer a friendly and motivated team, a superb working environment just 10 minutes from the city of Gatineau and 20 minutes from Ottawa, via Highway 5. The hotel offers 42 rooms, 2 restaurants, Holtz Spa in Nature as well as several conference rooms.

YOUR MISSION

Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables and bar area

Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed

Share your menu and beverage knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests

Record transactions in the Silverware system correctly and timely

Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage

Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies

REQUIREMENTS

The knowledge of English is necessary as most of our customers are English-speaking

Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented

Positive outlook and outgoing personality

Previous serving experience is a big plus

Requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.

Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time

Ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform is also required

Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification
