Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is essential in supporting the overall operation of our restaurant, ensuring a clean and safe workspace for staff and a positive dining experience for guests. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure sanitation standards are met at all times
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Monitor dishwashing equipment for proper operation and report any malfunctions or repairs needed
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a clean work environment

Experience

  • Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
  • Experience with kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers is a plus
  • No previous experience required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high cleanliness standards
