Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while contributing to a welcoming dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with a strong commitment to food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, including equipment and utensils
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
  • Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests, ensuring high-quality presentation
  • Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by assisting with meal assembly and other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety standards
  • Strong understanding of the food industry operations and customer service principles
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
  • Basic knowledge of serving practices and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment
