Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Firehouse Subs Team Member and become the heart of our fast-paced, customer-focused restaurant! In this energetic role, you'll deliver exceptional service, prepare delicious food, and create a welcoming environment for every guest. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us serve up memorable experiences while ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and standards
  • Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently
  • Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure guest satisfaction from order to delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by following food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and service
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices
  • Basic math skills for cash transactions, measuring ingredients, and inventory management
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
