Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of presentation and sanitation.
• Manage multiple tables by prioritizing tasks effectively through excellent time management skills, ensuring prompt service for all guests.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties such as processing payments and giving change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and kitchen experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction.
• Address guest inquiries promptly, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues with professionalism.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering and order processing tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrated hospitality skills with a focus on guest services and upselling techniques.
• Serving at right certification
• Bar knowledge
