Overview

Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper and be a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced food service environment. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting culinary staff with meal preparation and food handling. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help ensure our kitchen operates smoothly and safely every day.

Duties

  • Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including ingredient prep and portioning under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including counters, floors, and storage spaces
  • Support the kitchen team with meal assembly and presentation as needed
  • Properly handle and store food items according to safety guidelines to prevent contamination
  • Ensure all dishware and kitchen tools are sanitized and organized for easy access
  • Follow health and safety procedures consistently to promote a safe working environment

Skills

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and bending
  • Basic cooking skills or willingness to learn cooking techniques and meal prep processes
