Watermark Restaurant at Oceanstone Resort is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our growing team. This role will oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong team performance, and efficient, profitable operations. This role provides leadership across front-of-house service, supports back-of-house collaboration, and upholds the restaurant’s standards for service, food quality, and atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient service
  • Maintain high standards of guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns
  • Ensure the restaurant environment is welcoming, clean, and aligned with brand standards
  • Monitor reservations, floor flow, and service pacing

Team Leadership & Staffing

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house staff
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and motivated team culture
  • Ensure compliance with workplace policies, health & safety standards, and labour regulations

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Manage labour costs, scheduling, and productivity targets
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Oversee cash handling, POS procedures, and daily reporting
  • Support inventory management and ordering in collaboration with kitchen leadership

Quality & Standards

  • Ensure consistent execution of service standards and operating procedures
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to support menu execution and quality control
  • Uphold food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work closely with senior management on operational improvements and guest initiatives
  • Support promotions, events, and seasonal programming
