Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Experienced Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and customer hospitality, with the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where professionalism, efficiency, and excellent service are valued. The position involves providing attentive service, managing guest orders, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained throughout your shift.

Duties

  • Taking and accurately entering guest orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serving food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Providing excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
  • Handling cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
  • Upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Assisting with food preparation when necessary and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
  • Managing time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout shifts

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, especially within the food industry or hospitality sector
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and making change accurately
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Ability to work part-time hours reliably, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required
  • A friendly demeanor with guest-focused attitude and teamwork orientation
