Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable Mixologist to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will craft innovative and classic cocktails, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for the food and beverage industry while ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. The Mixologist will be responsible for preparing beverages with precision, maintaining cleanliness standards, and engaging with customers to enhance their overall visit.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and specialty drinks in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure excellent customer service
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, efficiently handling orders and payments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
  • Manage cash handling accurately during transactions
  • Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, and garnishes; restock supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to serve multiple customers efficiently during peak times
  • Assist in training new staff members on beverage preparation and customer service protocols

Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of bartending or mixology experience in a high-volume restaurant or cocktail bar.
  • Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, premium spirits, wine, beer, and beverage pairings.
  • Passion for cocktail craftsmanship and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Strong sales and upselling abilities.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Experience with POS and cashiering systems.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
