Join a growing brand. We're hiring highly qualified and experienced General Managers (GM) and Assistant General Managers (AGM) for various locations across the GTA.

Restaurant management is responsible for overseeing the assigned locations' revenue, profitability, service and quality goals while ensuring effective restaurant operations.

About the Role
We are looking for dynamic, customer-focused leaders who excel in fast-paced environments. While previous restaurant experience is not required, we provide comprehensive training. We seek individuals with exceptional customer service, leadership, decision-making skills, and strong communication abilities from retail or similar backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned locations with 6-15 employees per shift.
  • Manage the supervision and development of management/supervisory teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service, addressing any customer concerns or service issues at the location level.
  • Maintain restaurant facilities and equipment to meet both customer service and company image standards.
  • Lead the hiring, orientation, training, and coaching of employees to meet operational needs and company standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve employee performance and productivity.
  • Review operational reports to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and manage vendor orders to maintain stock levels while controlling costs.
  • Analyze sales trends and cost control measures through month-end reports and statements.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives at the restaurant level to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and practices, including safe handling of food and product rotation.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to identify opportunities for maximizing revenues and guest satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to manage and develop teams, ensuring productivity and motivation.
  • Experience in a retail, grocery store, or similar store management role is highly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet operational goals efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control expenses, and drive profitability.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
