Full job description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Server with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in food and wine knowledge, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and thrives under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests from greeting through to payment
  • Demonstrate strong menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary considerations
  • Confidently recommend and pair wines, cocktails, and menu items to enhance the guest experience
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with kitchen and bar teams to ensure accuracy and timing of orders
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation in the dining area
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash/point-of-sale transactions responsibly
  • Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service (formal training or certifications considered an asset)
  • Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Assets:

  • Fast casual, high volume experience
  • Experience with POS systems
  • This role is ideal for a confident, knowledgeable server who takes pride in delivering elevated service and creating memorable dining experiences in a dynamic setting.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
