Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to food safety and quality is paramount. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
  • Handle food safely, adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure an appealing dish
  • Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to maintain efficient workflow
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food industry best practices
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Familiarity with restaurant experience, including kitchen equipment and meal assembly processes
