Overview

Otto is looking for a part-time Line Cook for our new Sandwich Shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and all things food related. We take pride in making everything in house and we offer a great learning environment At least 1 year of kitchen experience in a fast paced work setting is essential for this position. We offer full benefits after 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
  • Cook menu items with attention to presentation, taste, and quality
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
  • Assist in plating dishes efficiently during busy service hours
  • Support the kitchen team in ensuring smooth operations during shifts
  • Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet service goals and uphold restaurant standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
