Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards of quality and presentation.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures and kitchen equipment is essential.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members in a busy kitchen environment.
