  • Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
  • Support the team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Handle food with care, adhering to proper storage and handling procedures to prevent contamination
  • Maintain organized workstations and ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning properly
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to execute orders efficiently and uphold high standards of presentation

Experience

  • Previous food service experience, particularly in a restaurant or similar setting, is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in meal preparation and working in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required in a kitchen setting
  • Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities within a culinary environment
