Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, customer service, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the food industry, supporting daily operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Serve customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with food presentation and upselling additional menu items to enhance customer experience
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
  • Support kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, including basic food preparation and sanitation duties

Experience

  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly and confidently
