What We Are Hiring

As a Cook, you bring the culinary vision of Denny’s to life. You are responsible for preparing and presenting food following the Denny’s menu, food specifications, and timing standards.

Our team is made up of committed, caring, and energetic individuals who make every Denny’s location the great and diverse place it is.

What You’ll Do

· You will present food to servers in a timely manner while maintaining a very high-quality product for our guests

· You will help Denny’s achieve our mission by adhering to Denny's Brand Standards, recipes and internal policies and procedures

· You will adhere to all federal, provincial, and local food handling regulations

· You will maintain food safety and follow food safe procedures

· You will perform other duties as required or assigned

Who You Are

· You have cooking experience

· You are able to read tickets, recipes and product specifications

· You are able to work with all Denny’s menu products

· You are an effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing

· You are a team player, collaborative and attentive

· You are self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively

· You can lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs

· You can stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift

· You must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
