Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a fast-paced food service setting, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Provide guest services that promote customer satisfaction and repeat business

Skills

  • Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Previous food service or restaurant experience is advantageous
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling purposes
  • Familiarity with food industry standards, serving techniques, and food preparation basics
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
