Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Cook to join our dynamic food service team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals that delight our guests and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and creativity, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist in food presentation, garnishing, and plating to enhance visual appeal.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Support meal preparation during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ensure all ingredients are stored correctly and inventory levels are monitored to minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt and friendly food service that exceeds guest expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related role within a restaurant or food industry setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with meal preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Prior restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred; culinary training or certifications are a plus.
  • Must have food handler's certificate or be will to get it before starting
