Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager Front of House to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management background, and a passion for food service excellence. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Previous hospitality experience, including restaurant and hotel environments, is highly valued. A background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling will support effective management of front-of-house activities. The Manager Front of House will play a pivotal role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, fostering a team-oriented environment
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow and adherence to company standards
  • Manage customer service interactions to guarantee guest satisfaction and handle any issues promptly
  • Coordinate food and beverage service, including serving guests and managing bar operations when applicable
  • Supervise food handling procedures to maintain food safety and hygiene compliance
  • Oversee POS systems such as Touch Bistro for order processing and cash handling accuracy
  • Conduct interviewing and onboarding of new team members to build a competent workforce
  • Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed during busy periods or staffing shortages
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices
  • Monitor inventory levels related to front-of-house supplies and coordinate with kitchen staff for seamless service
  • Oversee the social media of the restaurant and any advertising campaigns associated as such.

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within the food industry or restaurant management roles
  • Strong background in food service, including hospitality, restaurant experience, or hotel environments
  • Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
  • Experience managing POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the hospitality industry
  • Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is considered a plus
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures effectively
  • Strong social media skills.
