STATUS: Seasonal Hourly Contract (Apr – Oct)
COMPENSATION: $20-$23/hour plus % of team gratuity program

OPPORTUNITY:

As the Line Cook at Sweetgrass, you play a crucial role in crafting the dining experience our guests will cherish. From their arrival, you contribute to creating lasting memories by delivering an exceptional experience that complements our award-winning wines.


DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work as a part of an experienced and tight knit team to prepare and execute daily lunch service and occasional private events.

  • We pride ourselves on offering local, quality food in a timely, consistent manner

  • Daily opening, closing, and cleaning duties as requested by our Winery Chef; a prepared team and clean restaurant are essential for positive guest experiences!


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Courteous, friendly, professional attitude

  • Detail oriented, multitasking ability and strong work ethic required – both individually and as part of a team

  • Minimum one year’s experience working in a kitchen.

  • Food Safe & WHIMIS are assets, although training will be provided.

  • Able to lift 40lbs, work in hot summer temperatures & stand for long periods of time.

  • Open Availability Scheduling
