Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, be attentive to detail, and have experience in food and beverage service. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and food handling procedures. This position offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are prioritized.

Duties

  • Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring their needs are met promptly
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations
  • Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
  • Assist in setting up for service, including stocking supplies and garnishes
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, demonstrating hospitality skills

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Prior experience in hospitality or food service environments is highly desirable
  • Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol and comply with legal requirements
