Full job description

Kerr Street Cafe is on the hunt for experienced Line Cooks to join our talented team.

We’re a fun and trendy upscale Brunch Restaurant in Oakville, serving breakfast/brunch/lunch, but also cater to the GTA and Muskoka with private/custom catering. Over the past 6 years we've also created an online store with handmade small batch pre-made meals, proteins and desserts.

We're a made from scratch kitchen, eager to teach and help young cooks develop their skills, but also looking for the experienced line cook that can help us reach the expectation our clientele look for.

No evening shifts, daytime hours only.

Perks: above average weekly tip out / staff meal

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Food Handlers Certificate.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role working in a fast pace kitchen.
  • knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for multi-tasking.
  • Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team.
