Cunard Restaurant – Miramichi, NB

**Join Our Culinary Team!**

Cunard Restaurant is currently seeking a passionate and experienced **Cook or Chef** in Chinese foods and/or Vietnamese Phở to join our growing team in Miramichi. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Position Overview

As a Cook/Chef at Cunard Restaurant, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes according to our standards while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail
  • Assist in menu planning and daily specials (Chef position)
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are met
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Food Safety Certification is an asset
