Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized work environment while assisting with food preparation and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and supporting culinary excellence in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic meal assembly
  • Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces
  • Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper handling of all food items
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of needs
  • Support the team during busy service hours to ensure efficient restaurant operations

Requirements

  • Prior experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food handling is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
