Full job description

Located in the heart of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Rodd Grand Yarmouth is a full-service waterfront hotel known for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional guest experiences.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves preparing and cooking menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to established standards
  • Operate independently at a designated kitchen station
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
  • Ensure high-quality food presentation and consistency
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent guest experiences

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of line cook experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques
  • Ability to work independently on a single station
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest service
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
