Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and eager to learn more about kitchen operations.

Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
  • Help cooks with meal preparation by following instructions and recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stock supplies and assist in inventory management as needed.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure timely meal delivery.
  • Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts to prepare for the next day’s operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
