Job Summary
We are a busy Vietnamese casual restaurant with strong dine-in, takeout, and delivery volume. We are seeking an experienced cook who can work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment while maintaining consistency and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
  • Prepare Vietnamese menu items including soups, broths, noodle dishes, and stir-fry
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
  • Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Assist in training kitchen helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

Experience

  • Completion of Secondary School
  • 3-5 years of experience as a cook
  • Demonstrate professional experience preparing Vietnamese cuisine required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends

Language

  • English required
  • Vietnamese is an asset
