Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional meals
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to uphold hygiene standards
  • Support the serving team by ensuring timely delivery of freshly prepared dishes
  • Monitor inventory levels for ingredients and communicate needs for restocking

Experience

  • Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation methods across various cuisines
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on teamwork
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Basic understanding of serving practices within a restaurant setting is advantageous
