Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and uphold our centres reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities and certifications

  • Must have food handlers certificate.
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and accidents
  • Support the overall operation of the kitchen by assisting with meal assembly and plating as needed

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service in a restaurant or food industry setting
