Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host/Hostess to welcome guests and ensure they have a memorable dining experience. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing outstanding guest services.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly as they arrive, making them feel comfortable and valued from the moment they step in.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times and optimize table turnover.
  • Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant’s services, hours, and reservations.
  • Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold a welcoming environment.
  • Assist guests with special requests or seating preferences, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Use POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS to manage reservations or seating assignments when necessary.

Experience

  • Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
  • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear interpersonal interactions.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including POS systems such as Micros POS, is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Experience in hotel or restaurant settings can be advantageous but is not required; a positive attitude and customer-focused mindset are essential.
