Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality dishes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
  • Cook menu items with precision, maintaining consistency and quality
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
  • Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
  • Adhere to serving standards and assist with plating dishes for presentation

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation practices
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
