Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the kitchen. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food handling and preparation.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
  • Adapt to changing menus or special requests from customers while maintaining quality.
