Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full-Time Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, efficient time management, and a passion for hospitality. Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems and process transactions efficiently
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed
  • Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods
  • Handle cashing out guests accurately and manage cashiering responsibilities with basic math skills
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
  • Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and processing payments accurately
  • Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items in a professional manner to enhance guest experience
  • Flexibility to work full-time hours including weekends and holidays as needed
