Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of food safety, and providing excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in meal preparation to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently to keep the workspace clean
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, floors, and storage areas
  • Support serving staff by providing prepared food and assisting with basic food presentation when needed
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry is preferred but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is desirable
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to cleanliness and detail is beneficial
