Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest services, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, customer service, and restaurant operations within a dynamic hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and handle cash transactions with proper cash handling procedures.
  • Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Provide friendly and efficient guest services, addressing customer inquiries and upselling menu items when appropriate.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen stations, dining areas, and equipment.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Support team members in various restaurant operations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in food industry roles such as serving, cashiering, or kitchen work is advantageous.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to guest satisfaction are essential for success in this role.
