Claudine's Eatery is a family-owned and operated restaurant renowned for its East Coast comfort food and exceptional hospitality. Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time/Part time Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team as we ramp up for the Spring/Summer season. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing the dishes that have made us a local favorite. You will work closely with our team to ensure food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency, helping to maintain the high standards our customers expect.

Must be able to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook the basic components of each dish on our menu, following proven recipes and portion sizes.
  • Memorize and execute meal prep procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Ensure all kitchen and food prep areas are maintained to our high cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to assist with portion prep for upcoming shifts as needed.
  • Monitor product freshness, rotating stock to meet our quality standards and schedule.
  • Work various kitchen positions when needed such as line, prep and dish

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cooking and kitchen administration.
  • High school diploma or GED required; culinary schooling is an asset.
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for long hours (8+ hours per day).
  • High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds regularly.
  • Must have some evening and weekend availability
