Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to high standards, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Line Cook will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our dishes while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station before, during, and after service
  • Ensure all food is cooked properly, presented attractively, and served promptly
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure efficient workflow
  • Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving sizes, presentation, and portion control

Experience

  • Previous restaurant experience or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is advantageous
  • Familiarity with the food industry environment and food service operations is beneficial
  • Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in a kitchen setting is desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
