COOK/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Based at Fort McMurray 468 First Nation, we are a high-traffic, fast food restaurant providing services to our customers. Reporting to the Manager, our Cook/Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customers with professional, efficient and friendly service. The individual in this position must be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
  • Keeping the food prep area clean and safe for food
  • Work with the fryer and grill to prepare food items
  • Preparing produce
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen area
  • Provide fast accurate orders using POS ordering software
  • Cleaning and maintaining front counter and dining areas
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well stocked environment
  • Assemble food items for packaging or serving.

Requirements:

  • Safe food handling certification is an asset
  • Class 5 Alberta driver’s license is an asset
  • Have strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong customer service skills, attentiveness, and patience for customers
  • Have a willingness to learn and try new things
  • Are responsible, trustworthy, and punctual
  • Willing to work all required shifts (morning, evenings and weekends)
  • Multi-task efficiently in a Fast-paced environment
  • Must have basic math & English communication skills
  • Able to lift heavy items, and able to work on your feet for most of your shift
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
