Aangan Toronto is looking for passionate and dedicated Line Cooks and Kitchen Helpers to join our growing kitchen team.

We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a passion for food.

For the Line Cook position, previous experience in an Indian restaurant with knowledge of Tandoor, Curry, or Indian Cold Section is required. If you're confident working in any one of these sections and take pride in producing consistent, high-quality food, we'd love to hear from you.

For the Kitchen Helper position, experience in a professional kitchen is an asset. We are looking for someone eager to learn, assist with daily kitchen operations, and support the team in maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards (Line Cook).
  • Assist with food preparation and daily kitchen tasks (Kitchen Helper).
  • Manage the Tandoor, Curry, or Cold section independently (Line Cook).
  • Complete daily mise en place and prep work.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies.
  • Work efficiently with the kitchen team during service.

Requirements

Line Cook

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Indian restaurant.
  • Experience in Tandoor, Curry, or Indian Cold Section (one or more sections required).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Kitchen Helper

  • Previous kitchen experience is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to learn and support the kitchen team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

For Both Positions

  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
