Kitchen Helper & Sushi Helper (Downtown Toronto)

We are a busy Japanese sushi restaurant in Downtown Toronto looking for hardworking Kitchen Helpers and Sushi Helpers to join our friendly team.

(Nepali applicants are very welcome! )

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 months Canadian restaurant experience
  • Teamwork and good communication
  • Positive and easy-going attitude
  • Basic knife skills (cutting, prepping, handling food safely)
  • Willingness to learn new kitchen and sushi preparation skills
  • Able to work evening/late-night shifts (living near downtown is an advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Help chefs with food preparation and sushi station
  • Cut vegetables, fish, and other ingredients
  • Keep kitchen area clean and organized
  • Support team during busy hours
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
