At Houston Steak & Fruits de Mer, we’re redefining the steakhouse and seafood dining experience with premium ingredients, a lively atmosphere, and exceptional service.

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is skilled at preparing steaks and seafood to perfection, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes with consistency.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook grilled menu items, including premium steaks, seafood, and sides, according to Houston’s recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure proper grilling techniques, cooking times, and temperatures for all meats and seafood
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at the grill station
  • Monitor inventory levels for grill station items and communicate needs to kitchen management
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a grill cook or line cook in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of meat cuts, grilling techniques, and cooking temperatures
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistency
  • Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
