About Us

Marco Polo Land Restaurant is a fast-paced, guest-focused dining experience located within one of PEI’s busiest campgrounds. We serve a high volume of customers and pride ourselves on quality food, consistency, and a great team environment.

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well under pressure, and takes pride in preparing high-quality food consistently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet expectations
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with prep work, inventory, and closing duties
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

Qualifications

  • Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (but not required)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Food safety certification is an asset
