Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and attentive Server to join our team. The Server is responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for guests by providing excellent customer service, taking and delivering orders efficiently, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests warmly, presenting menus and offering recommendations.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
  • Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any issues.
  • Handle guest payments accurately and process transactions.
  • Assist with setting, clearing, and resetting tables in a timely manner.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth flow of service.
  • Upsell menu items, daily specials, and promotions when appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations (if applicable).

Qualifications

  • Previous serving or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Basic math and POS system skills.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (where applicable).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, and beverages
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
