Creekside RnR offers a unique glamping and wellness experience in central Atlantic Canada, featuring geodesic domes nestled in nature along a creek. Our mission is to provide guests with a tranquil escape in a comfortable and scenic environment, emphasizing relaxation and connection with nature.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Cook to join our team at Creekside RnR's restaurant in Cocagne, NB. In this role, you will prepare delicious meals that enhance our guests' outdoor experience and uphold our commitment to quality and safety. This position is vital in ensuring our visitors enjoy a memorable stay surrounded by nature.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor food quality and freshness
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas
  • Follow food safety and health regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members
  • Support service during busy periods while maintaining quality and consistency

Qualifications

  • Previous cooking or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs)
