Full job description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and be skilled in various aspects of food preparation and service.

Duties:
-Serves meals to residents according to their dietary restrictions and individual preferences.

-Serves appropriate meals and beverages to residents in a way that encourages independent feeding, noting appetite changes, feeding difficulties and food preferences and reports this information to the supervisor.

Sets up the dining room prior to meal service and cleans and sanitizes these areas following meal service.

Operates the dish machine following correct procedures. Washes pots, pans, and other wares as well as dishes and puts them away when clean.

Puts away food and supplies in the appropriate storage areas observing proper stock rotation.

Portions beverages, cereals, and desserts according to portion control consistent with the direction from the Cook.

Brews coffee and tea.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the kitchen
