Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Craft Beer/Cocktails and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be crucial in delivering a seamless experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary to maintain stock.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Assist in training new bartenders or bar staff as needed, sharing knowledge of best practices in bartending and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bartending 2-3 years experience or food service is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices within the restaurant or food industry.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
  • Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on helping customers feel valued and appreciated.
  • Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
